The 2022 vintage was characterised by marked varietal typicity, with grapes hand-picked at optimum ripeness. Fermentation occurred at controlled temperatures to preserve the wine's aromatic profile, followed by ageing on lees in stainless-steel tanks. This meticulous process ensures the wine properly represents Maldonado's terroir.

Winemakers Germán Bruzzone and Alberto Antonini prioritise minimal intervention; their use of concrete fermenters and large untoasted oak aims to preserve the purity and expressiveness of each grape variety, and the distinctive ballast soil and vineyards of Maldonado.

This wine pairs wonderfully with a range of dishes, from seafood and salads to light appetisers, thanks to its refreshing acidity and tropical fruit flavours. Its complexity also complements creamy or spicy dishes.

A Viognier blend, known for its floral and peachy aromas, with a touch of Chardonnay adding depth and structure. This combination results in a wine that is fresh, unctuous and complex.

Maldonado is on the Atlantic coast of Uruguay and despite its reputation as the new frontier of Uruguayan wine, it has been planted with vines since the 1890s. The climate is mild with cool breezes, moderating summer heat contributing to the wine's aromatic profile and acidity. The region's diverse geology, including old, rocky strata, provides free-draining, mineral-rich vineyards ideal for quality wine production.
